Sleep and Wake up on MRF24J40MA

This radio module has the feature of low consumption operation mode, where it will consume typically 2uA (page 1 of the datasheet).

Set in the Immediately wake-up mode I had problems to have a successful reception. I was doing the same steps the datasheet suggests in the page 121:

• Set High the pin WAKE.


• Wait at least 2ms to allow the 20MHz clock to stabilize.

I realised that is MUCH better to also reset the RF state machine, so now after delaying the 2ms, i do that reset in the suggested way, like this:

• Write the value 0x04 in the address 0x36


• Write the value 0x00 in the address 0x36
